PathoQuest est une société spécialisée de prestation de service (CRO), spin off de l’Institut Pasteur, qui propose des solutions innovantes pour le Contrôle Qualité des produits pharmaceutiques d’origine biologique. PathoQuest propose aux Biotech innovantes du monde entier un service expert complet de la réception des échantillons à la production des certificats d’analyse. Ces tests utilisent des protocoles propriétaires de traitement des échantillons, une plateforme de séquençage NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) et des pipelines d’analyses bio-informatiques spécialisés. Actuellement en phase de scale-up, nous comptons une cinquantaine de collaborateurs en France et aux Etats-Unis (Pennsylvanie).

    Dans ce contexte, PathoQuest recherche un stagiaire pour effectuer un stage d’une période de 6 mois ou plus au sein de la direction vente et marketing.

    Vos missions :

    Vous soutenez la Directrice Marketing et Expérience Clients dans la mise en œuvre du plan marketing tactique afin de supporter la croissance des ventes et accroitre la notoriété de l’entreprise dans le domaine du contrôle qualité des biomédicaments au niveau mondial.

    • Gestion d’un projet de création d’outils marketing d’aide à la vente : brochures, vidéo, articles, page web, emailing…
    • Participation et gestion de campagnes de prospection en utilisant le CRM
    • Développement d’outil pour un meilleur suivi des retours sur investissements des activités marketing
    • Participer à la création de la ligne éditoriale de l’entreprise et contribuer à la rédaction d’articles et communiqués de presse
    • Participer à l’organisation des congrès et séminaire de l’entreprise

    Vous serez en relations avec de nombreux acteurs de l’entreprise (Ventes, R&D, Opérations, Règlementaire…) Ainsi que de nombreux fournisseurs (communication, congrès…) et partenaires stratégiques

    Profil :

    • Bac + 5 scientifiques, complété ou non d’un 3eme cycle marketing/école de commerce
    • Autonome, organisé(e), avec un état d’esprit orienté client et prêt(e) à travailler dans une équipe multiculturelle
    • Appétence pour le digital et la création de contenu attrayant
    • Connaissance de l’anglais obligatoire
    • Connaissance des outils : suite Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop…), MailChimp ou équivalents

    Durée : > 6mois

     

    Le lieu de travail peut être situé  à Paris 13 (Bibliothèque François Mitterrand) ou peut être localisé en home office à proximité de Lyon.

    Sales Manager - NGS Application Specialist Europe

    – EUROPE –

    Description

     

       

      Missions and responsibilities

      Under the responsibility of the COO (Chief Operating Officer); you work in synergy with other sales managers in the European zone. Within PathoQuest’s global commercial strategy, You will :

      • Generate and manage leads and opportunities through the customer-centric selling
        implemented as a part of the CRM.
      • Prospect for new customers, identify decision-makers, and convert them into current clients
        with the goal of generating increased business to deliver planned business BGS objective.
      • Participate in the commercial strategy and plans.
      • Acquire new business and build stronger relationships with existing customers.
      • Ensure accurate and prompt reporting of sales.
      • Set up a forecasting process.
      • Represent PathoQuest at workshops & webinars.
      • Suggest evolutions and/or evaluate future trends within bioproduction safety to enable
        PathoQuest to adapt and/or consolidate its commercial offers.
      • Work with PathoQuest’s scientific and technical team to develop the company’s value
        proposition and business proposal.

      Qualifications & experience

      • A solid scientific background (biology, virology, genetics), complemented by experience in sales
        management.
      • Fluency in French and English, both oral and written, is mandatory.

      • Technical and scientific knowledge in the field of sales (Sales of “advice” / expertise /

      Business Development Manager, NGS Application Specialist

      – Home-based (East / West Coast USA) –

The company’s Biologics Genomic Service focuses on providing Quality Control testing to biotech and biopharma companies for the rapidly growing areas of cell and gene therapies and viral safety testing for vaccines. PathoQuest is at the forefront of providing NGS-based testing solutions which will replace current standardized in vivo and in vitro testing options because NGS is faster, more robust, and does not require the use of animals.

      Based in Paris, France, PathoQuest has established a U.S. subsidiary and is expanding its capabilities by implementing a state-of-the-art testing facility at its location near Philadelphia.

      The company also has a strong strategic partnership with Charles River Laboratories (CRL), a leading provider of preclinical and clinical laboratory services for the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology industries.

      PathoQuest is looking to hire two sales managers to separately cover the Eastern and Western United States, respectively, and Canada.

      Missions and responsibilities

      The Sales Manager’s principal mission will be to reach quarterly and annual sales targets through closing incremental business with both existing and new accounts. Accordingly, responsibilities will include:

       

      • Manage leads and opportunities (and provide accurate sales forecasts) via the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
      • Identify new potential prospects and convert to new customers (target identification and decision-makers) within the territory assigned by the Chief Commercial Officer.
      • Work to thoroughly understand customers’ needs and decision-making processes.
      • Create quotes and actively present these to the customers.
      • Diligently follow up in a timely manner, work through objections, negotiate and close the business opportunity.
      • Prepare customer confidentiality agreements (CDAs) and Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and present them to the General Manager.
      • Answer commercial requests via phone, video conference, or by email.
      • Create and execute an annual sales plan with updates based on the current organizational business strategy.
      • Participate in the definition of commercial and sales strategy.
      • Identify new potential markets for selling products, develop new profit and revenue streams, and develop lists of potential prospects.
      • Further development of existing customers within defined territory.
      • Represent PathoQuest at conferences, workshops and strengthen PathoQuest’s reputation within the market.
      • Coordinate and carry out regular customer visits.
      • Evaluate future market considerations for bioproduction business and suggest changes to improve the company’s commercial offering.
      • Work with the science and technology team to assist in developing PathoQuest’s offerings.
      • Support the development of promotional materials and marketing strategy.
      • Monitor the competition and provide feedback to Marketing and CCO on a monthly basis.
      • Participate in internal global sales events and meetings.
      • This position entails an estimated 30% to 40% of business travel for client visits, conferences, company-sponsored events, etc.

       

      Qualifications and skills

      Experience and education

      Required:

      • Scientific, Masters or Ph.D. degree required.
      • Strong self-starter with a consultative selling approach.
      • Proven sales track record (5 to 10 years) in selling services (or relevant products) to the pharmaceutical industry (including CDMOs).
      • Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment as a part of a team whilst contributing to the development of PathoQuest’s business and processes.
      • Accustomed to working in a multi-international environment

       

      Nice to have:

      • Technical expertise in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS).
      • Experience in biologics with a thorough knowledge of bioprocessing including monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, plus cell and gene therapy.
      • Experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
      • Knowledge of industry practice in Quality Control testing environment.

      • Effective business communication, presentation and negotiation, and leadership skills required with a science focus.

      Missions and responsibilities

      The Key Account Manager’s principal mission will be to reach quarterly and annual sales targets through closing incremental business with their allocated accounts. Accordingly, responsibilities will include:

       

      • Develop and execute Key Account Plans for each of the accounts. This will include:
        • Key Account Mapping.
        • Setting of vision and objectives.
        • Working with internal stakeholders to agree on and execute an action plan.
      • Manage leads and opportunities (and provide accurate sales forecasts) via the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
      • Work to thoroughly understand customers’ needs and decision-making processes.
      • Create quotes and actively present these to the customers.
